The sunrise in Chelan was especially nice this morning while I was out for my exercise. Couldn’t resist sharing.

Above Cashmere the mountains are half-clothed with snow and this morning, as I ran my daily 5, I enjoyed watching the rising sun playing over these gentle-looking giants.

This little town is nestled on the side of Lake Chelan, down the lake from the town of Chelan. Lots of folks don’t even know it exists. Today it looked kind of deserted for the winter.

Thanks Saucony! Minimalist running shoes are really improving. Hopefully by spring I’ll be ready to return to my Five-Fingers without Achilles pain.

I found a new favorite saying on Facebook today (yes FB!). It’s a Swedish proverb I want to live by every day of 2012 and beyond:

“Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; love more, and all good things will be your’s.”

Now to remember this…..
